There are three standard charges for all dental treatments from April 2019:

• Band 1 course of treatment – £23.80
  This covers an examination, diagnosis (including X-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if needed, and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant.
• Band 2 course of treatment – £65.20
  This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or removal of teeth.
• Band 3 course of treatment – £282.80
  This covers everything listed in Bands 1 and 2 above, plus crowns, dentures and bridges.

Private Care

The dental surgeries provide all the treatment necessary to secure and maintain your oral health. There are some treatments (mainly cosmetic) that are not normally available under the and you may choose to have these provided privately. You may also choose to have some treatment provided privately as an alternative to  treatment. The dentist will discuss these options with you so that you can make an informed choice.
