Dental Decay

Here at Experdental we take your dental health seriously. We actively try to help the community, young and old, fight tooth decay by promoting a healthy diet and encouraging daily dental routines that will help you fight tooth decay and gum disease.

How To Prevent It

Tooth decay, or dental caries, is the process by which the tooth tissue is destroyed. In it’s earliest stages caries is only visible to a dentist and on x-rays, so regular check up are essential. It first appears as small dark or opaque patches on the tooth surface which, if left untreated, will spread within the tooth. Dental decay is rarely painful until it is far advanced and, if left, the tooth may have to be extracted.
